Sorry guys. I've been so busy with work and school and Just Dance 2 and mon roi. I never intentionally neglect my blog. I love this thing, even though it aesthetically doesn't look pleasing at first. But I love you guys, most important. So, let's get started.
I was not allowed to take pictures at the new Forever 21 in Myrtle Beach, SC. I'm actually never allowed to take pictures legally. But I was hoping to be able to take silly pictures of us walking in and out and walking behind and in front. It was a great experience to lead a shop like that. Having people coming up to me asking questions that I KNEW the answers to was a great feeling. And being a part of a great team of visual leads are breath-taking. Made friends with a cute little asian girl named Young. You'll see. But next time, I'm totally taking time to take pictures.
Tip of the Day: Don't be afraid to show your stomach
Alright okay I might not be the best example for this since I'm relatively smaller than what America constitutes as the average female. But seriously. A lot of girls at my store ask for crop tops and honestly, I hate to say it, but number 1! We don't have any that are worth buying. And number 2! It's so much cheaper just to go to goodwill and find some funky striped top and cut it yourself. It means so much more to you that way anyways. Crop tops are always good pieces to use in an outfit. Depending on the color, but at the same time not really. Because with just about any color and cut of a crop top, you'll never fail with a pair of high rise denim or liquid leggings. You could always do a high rise skirt or high rise shorts. Either way, the crop top is always going to be successful. Whether you're as small as I am or you wear clothes in vanity sizes, you'll still be able to pull it off. I wouldn't recommend just wearing a crop top with some low rise denim shorts or pants or whatever. That's a totally different look, if you know what I mean. Anything with a high waist band can trim you down some, if that's what you worry about de temps en temps. Trust me.
And by the way, I want to just mention something. You may see me in my black holy grail tights often. Ou toujours. But there's some kind of mental comfort wearing those things. Plus, I'm not running an avant garde line. So I have to be comfortable, right?
